Maintenance Rescheduling Notice - Network Firmware Upgrades

The previously scheduled maintenance window for May 31, 2025, has been rescheduled to June 14, 2025, starting at 1:00 AM Amsterdam local time.

This maintenance is required to resolve a software bug in the operating system of our transport switches. If left unaddressed, this bug could lead to performance degradation or service disruptions on our backbone infrastructure.

An earlier maintenance performed on March 8 successfully upgraded the system but inadvertently introduced a secondary issue. This upcoming window is intended to fully resolve that.

Scope of Work
- Each transport switch will be upgraded sequentially, followed by a reboot to activate the new software.
- Customers with single-homed connections may experience brief service interruptions during the upgrade.
- The software has been thoroughly tested in our lab, and the upgrade will be carried out in a controlled manner by Netrouting’s network engineering team.

Expected Impact
- Customers connected in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and/or The Hague, The Netherlands
- Customers with redundant connections may observe a brief failover event.
- Customers with non-redundant connections may experience a temporary service interruption lasting approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
