DFDC The Hague - UPS-C Maintenance

As part of our ongoing infrastructure development plan, one of our UPS clusters—originally commissioned in November 2024 during the early stages of our expansion—will be migrated to a newly prepared power path, Feed C, on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Feed C is the fourth and final fully diverse power path (A, B, C, D) in our design, completing the last phase of power-related infrastructure upgrades. This enhancement is a key step toward increasing overall system redundancy and preparing the facility for upcoming infrastructure certification.

Planned Work Details

Impact:
- No service (or any form of power) interruption is anticipated
- Affected customers will temporarily lose UPS protection during the migration.
- Customers with dual power feeds connected to other UPS clusters will remain fully protected.

- ZA.C1.BB02 (Row 1, bus bar 2) – Racks ZA.C1.R1 - ZA.C1.R15
- ZA.C3.BB03 (Row 3, bus bar 3) – Racks ZA.C3.R1 - ZA.C3.R15
- ZA.C5.BB02 (Row 5, bus bar 2) – Racks ZA.C5.R1 - ZA.C5.R15
- ZA.C6.BB03 (Row 6, bus bar 3) – Racks ZA.C6.R5 - ZA.C6.R8
- ZA.C7.BB02 (Row 7, bus bar 2) – Racks ZA.C7.R1 - ZA.C7.R15

Maintenance Schedule (CEST)
07:00 – Engage external bypass and transfer load to unprotected utility power
08:30 – Migrate UPS input and power panel to new Power Feed C
11:00 – Return load through UPS, perform load verification, battery checks, and confirm system status
12:00 – Close maintenance window

On-Site Access & Coordination
We recommend minimizing on-site activity during this maintenance period. Customers requiring on-site engineering support are advised to coordinate with our operations team in advance to ensure safe access and proper support during the scheduled work.
